In the background there are the continually growing trees of the groveActors' Grove was established in the spring of 2009 by the initiative of Zsolt Hanák and the then mayor of the village. They wanted to create a park which honours the memory of the greatest Hungarian actors and actresses in a unique way and can be visited at any time.

There's no theatre in Bogács but there are festivals, where famous actors give a performance in the village. We know these actors and actresses very well from films and television; their artistic work makes both dramas and cabarets unforgettable for us forever.

That's why we honour them with the symbol of infinity: trees reaching for the sky. In case of some of them – although they planted their own tree not so long ago – we can only honour their memory.

The first trees of the grove were planted in April, 2009, then further ones were added in 2010, and 2012.
